The IMOU Ranger 2 is a versatile indoor PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera offering a full 360° horizontal pan and 92° vertical tilt — enabling you to remotely survey an entire room from a single device. Whether you need to monitor children, pets, elderly relatives or simply keep an eye on your home whilst away, the Ranger 2 covers everything within a single compact unit.

The auto-tracking feature uses motion detection algorithms to automatically follow movement across the room, keeping the subject in frame without manual intervention. At night, the built-in infrared LEDs provide clear black-and-white night vision up to 10 metres in complete darkness, so the camera continues watching even after the lights go out.

Two-way audio with a built-in microphone and speaker lets you talk and listen through the IMOU Life app from anywhere in the world. Recordings are stored locally on a microSD card (up to 256GB) or optionally uploaded to IMOU Cloud. The Ranger 2 plugs into standard mains power and connects via 2.4GHz WiFi — no complicated setup required.

Installation Guide

The Ranger 2 is designed for plug-and-play indoor use — no drilling or professional installation needed. Simply place it on a shelf or table, connect it to power, and set it up through the app.

1. Download the IMOU Life app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create a free account or sign in.
3. Plug the camera into a mains socket using the included power adapter.
4. Tap "+" in the app and scan the QR code on the camera base.
5. Follow the app prompts to connect to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
6. Position the camera on a flat surface or wall-mount using the supplied bracket.
